Buy a Vintage Car And Use Auto Transport To Receive It!

If you are a car collector, you know how important a delivery service is when you are building your collection. When you find a great, vintage, rare model at a great deal, you need to get it immediately because it can seriously boost the value of your collection. You'll want to have take consideration into how you are going to get it home, however, as you may be making this purchase from a location across the country. Driving it isn't a smart option with a rare model, as you will not only risk damaging it, but you don't want to rake up the miles either. This is why you will want to look for an auto transport service who can handle the delivery for you.

When you need to find someone who can handle car shipping, you'll want someone who understands how important the delivery of your car actually is. You will need to find someone who fully insures their deliveries so that, if anything should happen during the transportation, your vehicle will be fully protected. The best auto transport services will provide this so that, once your car is picked up, you will not have to worry about the safety of the vehicle anymore. When you are going to trust a delivery service to bring a vintage car to your home, you'll have to make sure that they have an exemplary record.

Looking into the history of an auto transport delivery service can require looking into customer testimonials of the service itself. You will also want to look into their insurance policies and if there are any limitations or restrictions on the vehicles they are willing to transport. With something as valuable or important as a vintage car, you are going to want to take every consideration about the car shipping service you hire. This is not something you should be willing to take chances with.

Once you have decided on a service, they will meet up with the person you have bought the car from. They will fill out a report on the state of the car itself, indicating any areas where there is already damage. The person they are picking the car up from will also sign this report, indicating that everything in the report is accurate. The trip will then begin. When the car is delivered, you and the driver of the vehicle will review that report before you sign off on it. If there are any damages to the vehicle, you will want to bring that up with the driver and the auto transportation service. If the car seems to be in perfect order, however, you will sign off on the report.

Car shipping can come in many different ways and you will want to consider which company is going to offer the services which you feel the most comfortable with. When transporting a vintage car, you will want an enclosed transportation space, as this can protect the car from the weather or any flying stones which may cause damage. When you look through various auto transport services, you should be able to find one which is going to make the delivery of your car safely!

Opinions on business name?
My husband and I are having a problem agreeing on a business name for our vintage auto restorations shop and we would like honest opinions from strangers to help us make a decision. Names are made up but similar to the ones we are using. :) For the last three years we have been doing business under a woman's name. "Ruby's Classic Car Restorations." There has been talk about changing the name because it is similar to nearby restaurants Ruby's and Ruby Tuesdays. Plus, we would like to offer more than just vintage auto repair...we want to do custom work. The other option is using our last name, which is almost never pronounced correctly and calling it "__last name___ Custom's and Classics." That is more original and less feminine and less likely to be confused with a food joint. The downside is that since our last name is butchered almost daily that people would be confused since the way it looks and the way it sounds are nothing alike (it's a German name). On the other hand, there are very famous car restoration places with names people have just learned to pronounce correctly, like Foose. So what are your thoughts? Keep woman's name or go with original last name? Thanks!
