Luminox Navy SEAL Dive Watch

I love this watch! This is the Original Navy Seal Dive Watch, designed as a high-performance sport watch for night missions. This watch is designed to glow for 25 years, as micro gas light source luminescent hands never need light to recharge.

Lumi is Latin for light, while Nox is latin for night. I never took latin in school, but it sure sounds cool. This watch also features a stainless steel plate and swiss quartz movement, encased in a sapphire glass window. All of this in a very lightweight watch.

Luminox Light Technology originated from a swiss self-powered illumination system, making the watch highly visible in extremely low light conditions. The technology behind Luminox was already in place, when an officer of the navy seals approached the company to build a watch for military applications.

After years of diving, this watch is one of the most rugged, abusable, and highly accurate watches I've found! This watch is built specifically for real divers and real diving applications. If you're tough on your watches, this one is for you.

This watch fits comfortably on the wrist for prolonged dive sessions. Also I've noticed that it is well designed in that it does not get caught on dive skins or wet suits.

One of the things I like so much about this watch is that it offers superior visibility for all deep water dives. The hands are highly visible regardless of the water or night conditions. This is essential for improved confidence in deep water. Somehow I find the glow to be warm and reassuring at 200M.

I highly recommend this watch. The value for such a high quality watch is unbelievable at this price. Owning this watch is like having a piece of military history, connecting you to the legacy of the US Navy Seals.
