Some of The Best Nike Jordan Shoes Are The 1985 Air Jordans

1985 was a memorable year for Nike Jordan because this was the year when they launched their first basketball shoe. Since then Air Jordan shoes have come a long way. There has been advancement in technology, changes in designs, enhancement in aerodynamic capability and traction, availability of high quality raw materials and all these have been combined together to create some of the best Air Jordan shoes in the market today.

There are many people who feel nostalgic whenever they come across 1985 Air Jordans. Those were the Nike Jordan shoes that started it all. The first edition of Air Jordan shoes introduced in 1985 were sophisticated as well as fashionable and are worth quite a fortune to a hardcore basketball fan. The 1985 collection of Jordan shoes were designed by Peter Moore and they were as simple as any basketball shoes can be.

The 1985 Air Jordan shoes had a two lace arrangement and the color of each of the lace matched the color on the side of the shoe. Basically this implies that a shoe with red/black color combination had laces that were red and black in color. In 1985, this kind of a color combination sounded as well as looked to be too bold and to the point of being outrageous. But the truth is that this was the bold statement that created a different and unique platform for the Nike Jordan shoes of today and for the near future.

One of the striking aspects of a 1985 Air Jordan shoe is that they retained the Nike identity as far as printing the six digit serial number was concerned. The first two digits in the serial number represented the year it was manufactured and could be found on the inside of the ankle. There are several Jordan fans who have been collecting 1985 Nike Jordan shoes with the oldest numbers. One of the aspects of the shoes that made it quite popular was the low top. Apart from this, the 1985 Nike Jordan shoes came with a color combination of 17 different colors, which was quite a lot to choose from during that time. In fact, the color combinations were used in such a way that it was easy to find shoes for women, men, and youth. Some of the shoes in the youth category were also name as "Sky Jordan".

The Air Jordan 1985 shoes had a special name and they were called as "AJKO". The AJKO models had custom designed colors and patterns that made them stand out. The most common color for the AJKO or the 1985 Nike Jordan shoes was red/white/black. The Nike swoosh was in black and the bottom sole and the sidelines of the shoes were in red. Another color combination used for the Jordan 1985 was black and grey although they were not as popular as the red/white/black combination.

The important thing is that the 1985 Air Jordan shoes shaped the history of a shoe company. If you are a basketball fan and keep collectibles then a 1985 Nike Jordan shoe should be at the top of your list.

Mazda and Emissions?
I have a 1985 RX7 and just failed emissions. I scored a 2.45 and the standard is 2.40 and then also a 29.15 and the standard is 20.00. Couple people say I barely failed and others say I failed horribly. I have since replaced all the plugs and wires as well as vacuum hoses and also a new rotor and distributer cap. I am a bit afraid to take it to emissions again because I have heard that they can and will junk my car and I will not ever be able to get it tagged. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Why is my 1985 Rx7 dying when I put it in neutral?
I know I need a new clutch too but I'm pretty sure they have nothing to do with each other. I also know that it is extremely tricky to start. It's a non-fuel injected 12A rotary engine.
