Getting Best Value For Your Money: Price Comparison
Purchasing is a pleasure if you get the best value for your money. In the present period of economic downturn where manufacturing industries are competing to survive and are settling down for low profitability, providing generous price discounts and freebies to entice buyers, purchasing can be a real pleasure provided you have made enough homework before proceeding to shopping. These are the times when you too are walking on tight budget because of slowing down economy. So you need to buy at the lowest possible price without compromising on quality to conserve on your finances.
While prices of groceries and daily provisions may be easy to compare as you have to often purchase them, they do not provide you much scope for saving as their prices are less flexible. However if you change the brand you may save considerably. So here you save by brand comparison rather than price comparison.
In case of items like music systems, laptops, televisions, iPods, micro-ovens, decorative items, mobile phones and scores of other items, price comparison is a bit tough as you have to ensure quality also. So the best thing is to enquire from your friends, relatives and acquaintances regarding the price and performance of similar items they are using. You may also keep a watch on media advertisements regarding the price of the items including discounts provided, promotional offers and any freebies attached.
Next go on shopping and search for the best value of the item you require. Make a price comparison adding the value of any freebies that are offered. However useless freebies should not be considered. Sometimes two-in- one offer may give you better price value.
Price comparison can be made across the brands also if these brands are reputed. For high value items, which have the potential of giving you substantial savings, it is natural that you may search from stores to stores or even from mall to mall. But before doing that you must ensure that you really stand a chance of striking a better deal; otherwise such an adventure may become tiring as well as a waste on your time, energy and even money as you have to expend on gas also.
One of the best methods to escape all these vagaries is, to browse online. Online purchasing is gathering momentum with the passage of time because it is simple and superb. Connect Internet, browse the shopping sites, open the catalogue, search for your item and check the prices of different brands. Make a price comparison, rang up concerned stores for further enquiry if required and take an informed decision. But before final buying make sure that the store is not a scam. Find out one of your acquaintances who has purchased from that store. Also you may enquire whether the online store does have a physical store in any reachable location. Any online store, which has a retail physical presence, is likely to be genuine.
Next you may proceed to purchase from the chosen online store, after making sure about delivery charges and delivery schedule. Make payment by credit card to keep a record of payment to cope with any fraudulence later.
Online purchase therefore saves your time, energy, money and can be done from the comfort of the home without compromising on quality and price. Also do not forget to add your names on the subscribers list of the store from which you made a purchase, so that they can keep you abreast of new arrivals, discounts offered and promotional offers from time to time through your e-mail.

I sold a car to the best of my knowledge and 24 hours later the buyer claims major problems and wants to retur?
I sold a 1985 corvette priced 2000 below kbb fair trade in value i did this because interior cosmetics were far from perfect and it had a check engine light code for an air sensor or something like that and i needed it gone asap before my dad killed me for having so much stuff.
It was sold to a 19 year old who desperately wanted the car and i sympathized with him sold it for cheaper and cheaper and even offered to cover fixes of up to $200 if he brought the parts to fix (understand i did this because i had no intention of ripping him off or anything of the nature) anyway he lets his friend who is relatively new at driving stick drive it home and the whole time they were test driving it he was constantly over revving the engine and just plain treating it like crap.
a few things to note the battery was iffy towards the end of the 4 hours they were there so i offered to replace it with a spare i had in my storage unit a ways away the next day
i felt i was being of good nature helping the guy out as much as possible they were pleased with the car so i helped clean it up to present to his parents yet another while they pay me a little in cash and the rest in check (banks were closed that day) apparently 30 miles down the road they have broken down on the side of the road the whole time all i could think was HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE i have driven the car everyday the week prior without a problem set aside the idle from that sensor they start saying "we need to return the car we need to return the car" so they say theyre coming back to my house i told them i would not take the car back because i cant that was my whole reason for selling so cheap in the first place. anyway they dont show instead they drive it home the next day i go to cash the check and they say they cant cash it ($3000 check i know im stupid i thought we were all in good faith) so i call the family and he puts me on the phone with there dad who says the engine blew up we talked to the cops they said i was in the wrong and that we should hold the check (summarized) naturally i think no way the car was fine i had no knowledge of any of this happening ever
what do i do im at a loss... i need help asap should i file a small claims suit and get them to pay the check that im sure has bounced?
FORGIVE SPELLING ON TITLE ITS LATE. oh and the father seemed rather hostile considering all i had done to insure the son was happy with the vehicle and comfortable
im sorry just to clarify THE father called the cops and said that the cops said to cancel the check because i was in the wrong
